CVShortlist uses artificial intelligence (Claude AI, operated by Anthropic, Inc.) to rewrite and tailor CVs and resumes to match specific job descriptions and target job markets, with ATS keyword analysis and downloadable outputs.
Important: CVShortlist provides AI-generated suggestions only. All output should be reviewed carefully before use. We make no guarantee that a tailored CV will result in an interview, job offer, or any particular employment outcome.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@cvshortlist.com if you suspect unauthorised use. You may only hold one account per person.
CVShortlist accounts are for individual personal use only — tailoring your own CV for your own job applications.
Organisations or businesses wishing to use CVShortlist commercially should contact support@cvshortlist.com.
One credit is consumed each time you successfully tailor a CV. Credits reset on the 1st of each calendar month and do not roll over.
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe and renew automatically unless cancelled. All prices include VAT.
Cancel any time in account settings. Access continues until the end of the billing period.
Nothing here affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
You acknowledge that AI-generated content may contain errors; you are responsible for reviewing all output before use; submitting false information on any CV is your sole responsibility; and CVShortlist does not guarantee any employment outcome.
You retain all rights to your original CV content and the tailored output. The CVShortlist brand, interface, and underlying software are owned by CVShortlist and may not be copied or used without written permission.
To the maximum extent permitted by English law, CVShortlist's liability is limited to amounts paid in the 3 months preceding any claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses including loss of employment opportunities. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
We may update these Terms with 14 days' notice by email for material changes. Continued use constitutes acceptance. If we discontinue the Service, we will give 30 days' notice and issue pro-rata refunds.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Please contact first try to resolve disputes by contacting us at support@cvshortlist.com.
